Information Publishing is just another example of residual income – you write or create a product one time, and you get paid for it over and over and over again! Your product may start as a book (see the Authoring A Book section on this website) that would sell for $15.00. Then the book could be developed further into a manual and CD set for $99.00 or an entire home study system for $995.00. You can look at the resources on the EPIC website for some examples of different products and types.
Whatever your job or profession, you can make money teaching people your knowledge as well as from the work itself. But your knowledge or expertise doesn’t have to be from something work-related. It could be just a hobby or some interest in a particular subject you have or just something that you’re passionate about.
People want to know “how to” and “where to” and they are willing to pay you well to teach them how to do what you do. They are realizing that it’s far cheaper and faster to buy the information rather than starting from scratch and figuring it all out for themselves.
The information industry – the production of ideas and knowledge as opposed to goods and services – now amounts to over one-half of the gross national product! In 1950, 17% of Americans were employed in information-related jobs. In 1995, it was more than 65%. There is money in information. Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad series) says that we are no longer in the industrial age, but we are in the information age!

There are many programs on Information Publishing that give bits and pieces on the subject, but this system is by far the most complete I have found, especially for the price.
This course comes highly recommended by Mark Victor Hansen, Co-Author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series, and Cavett Robert, founder of the National Speakers Association.
