2010 – A Year of Breakthrough and Recovery

Some of you may receive the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin from Bill and Marsha Burns. A few days ago, they had a very encouraging word that I wanted to share with you that speaks to where many of us have been in the body of Christ this past year, and more importantly, where we are headed.
In 2009, many Christians began to exercise a fuller and more complete faith, but our faith began to wane because of hardship of the circumstances we found ourselves in. The intensity and length of the battle had caused us to be worn out and discouraged.
But the Lord of the Breakthrough is coming in this year to lead His people into victory, which will result in the recovery of things lost. The thief has been relentless in this season, and he has stolen from many of God’s children. Nevertheless, the Lord is calling 2010 a year of recovery. He is speaking to us in the same way that He spoke to David in I Samuel 30. While David and his men were away from camp, the enemy came and stole the women, children, and belongings. David was discouraged when his men blamed him and wanted to stone him.
But, like David, we must learn to overcome discouragement by encouraging ourselves in the Lord. Then David PURSUED the enemy and recovered all that had been taken from him and more.
We need to repent for discouragement because it gives birth to doubt, and ask the Lord to restore our faith.
In the next couple of days, be on the lookout for an email where I will be outlining three specific financial strategies that I will be unfolding in the coming days and weeks for 2010 regarding your debt, businesses (including start-ups), investments, and real estate.

I am a first hand witness to the doubt that has tormented God’s children. People like you are an asset to the BoC. Father has blessed me to stay encouraged and to grow even stronger during this time. This is right in line with what God spoke to my heart to “Begin Again in 2010.” I knew He meant to pick up things that might have been let go or laid down that He directed us in or gave us. The enemy has no authority to take from us and when we go after him in the authority of God’s Word we will reclaim what was stolen and more!

I would like to comment on the prophetic statement. Being a believer for 24 years, I have heard these prophetic statements every Dec 31, night watch service. Year of Jubilee, more in 2004, going to thrive in 2005, year of breakthrough,etc. So many and peoples lives are still the same. I believe in the word of prophecy and have received and given utterances;but I realize for them to come to pass, we must do certain things. I am beginning to see that if our minds are not renewed, we will not see the manifestations of the things of God. If we have not planted seed, there will be no harvest. In addition to walking in the fruits of the Spirit.
You can not make statements like these to a congregation and have them believe that a change is going to come and they have not been operating in the principles of God. We begin to look for this change and we have not fulfilled the requirements. The Kingdom works by seed time and harvest. No seed planting, no harvest. So if i did not plant seed, the utterance does not take place. If we show people how to walk in the principles of the word we would not always be looking for a quick fix. God watches over His word to perform it, and to see it come to pass we must exercise faith and patience. The utterance will only apply to the ones who are working the word.

Mark, I would probably fall in the category of a minor prophet. I am unheard of, but I seek the heart of God. Can I give the true end time word for the body of Christ.
